Hi, I'm Shibi.

I'm a copywriter and content writer based in Buea, Cameroon, writing for businesses, organizations and leaders around the world.

My story

I started out in journalism. Studying it taught me the habits I still use on every project: research before you write, check every fact, and say things clearly enough that anyone can follow.

In 2022, I founded Rixcart, an independent digital news platform covering news, entertainment, arts, culture and sports. Running it taught me something no classroom could: how to write for real readers who can click away at any second, and how to keep them reading.

I'm now completing a master's degree in Film, Television and Documentary Drama Production. Film taught me structure: how a story builds, where attention drops, and what makes someone feel something and act on it. I bring that into everything I write, from a 30-second script to a home page.

Today, I write full-time. I'm a Copywriter and Communications Contributor at WSPEC, where I write content explaining space elevator technology to young audiences and help shape the organization's website and video messaging. I also lead media and communications for a church congregation, run my own news platform, and write stories and copy for clients online. Every project gets the same approach: understand the audience, find what matters to them, and write it so it lands.
